Melody and Drew lock in a secret pairing, but the real shocker comes when Melody admits she trusts Ashley far more than her own closest game associate, Lyric.

Breaking Trust with Lyric

The continuation of Drew and Melody's conversation shifted from a vague alliance pitch into some incredibly candid, high-stakes game talk. Despite the rest of the house associating Melody heavily with Lyric, Melody completely exposed the cracks in that pairing to Drew.

Melody: I trust Ashley. I literally trust Ashley more than I trust Lyric... Because Lyric doesn't tell me anything. Like, I keep being like, "Hey, what is your thinking? Because if I'm supposed to be, like, associated with you..." And she won't tell me anything. And like, that sucks.

Drew completely validated her frustration, adding that it leaves Melody exposed to taking all the negative heat of being in a visible duo without getting any of the actual benefits or information flow.

Spying on the Gamers

The duo also started tracking the early, quiet power players in the house. Melody flagged Haley as someone actively trying to pull in players under the radar, while Drew noted that Mallory is planning to gun incredibly hard for the upcoming HOH competition.

According to Melody, Mallory taking power wouldn't be the worst case scenario because "she can take the heat" of making big moves, though both agreed Mallory's chaotic social game makes her a volatile wildcard.

The Most Boring Game of Chess in BB History

As the strategy winding down, several other houseguests—including Kamu—wandered into the room to check on the game, completely exposing how bad Drew and Melody actually are at chess. The pair finally managed to take their first casualties of the match, but only by blindly trading pieces.

Melody: With how many moves we've made, somebody should have taken a fucking piece over it... We both know how to play, but we don't know shit about the strategy... This is the most boring game of chess of all time. This is terrible.

Before the clip cuts out, Drew and Melody are openly begging the rest of the room to teach them how to play properly, with Melody joking that the rest of the match is just going to be a completely uncoordinated "battle of the pawns."
