Mallory's Close Call
Mallory tells the group she'd heard from multiple people that she was the target if she landed on the block Thursday.
Mallory: "If I lost Blockbuster, I was going home first week... I knew it too. I thought maybe I was paranoid, but I just fucking knew it."
She adds that she believes Ashley likely would've gone up still if she didn't win Veto, and isn't confident she'd have survived a vote against Ashley and Taylor.
Lyric Walks In Uneasy
Lyric enters the workout room and immediately reacts to the tense mood in the house.
Lyric: "Guys, what is all the secretive things going on today? This is Big Brother. It's starting."
She admits the whispering and game talk hitting this early caught her off guard.
Lyric: "It is what we signed up for, but I really didn't think it was gonna be like this... it's literally the first week."
Trust and the Plan Going Forward
The group, Drew, Mallory, and Lyric, reaffirms trust in each other and commits to riding out the game together, with Drew specifically pushing for Mallory to be the one to win the next HOH.
Drew: "I want you to win... hell yeah."
Lyric admits she's still struggling to read who in the house is being genuine with her.
Lyric: "I love everyone as a person so much. It's just hard to tell who's telling the truth."
Mallory closes out the section reflecting on how much social capital she feels she's gained since nearly being evicted, right as the feed cuts.
Drew: "I feel like you've gained so much aura and respect that everyone's like, oh shit, we can't fuck with Mallory."
