The Name Trail
Jason walks Lyric through what he's heard about the block: Melody's name, then a swap, then Barrett's name, all sourced back through the grapevine to Yash.
Jason: "I think Yash was saying Melody's name."
Lyric immediately wants to know if her name came up at the same time, and Jason confirms Yash may have told her name to one person and Melody's name to someone else entirely, essentially testing which name would spread.
Jason: "I think Yash is doing his thing to think, like, who is who what name would I say to get people round up."
Melody Confirms It From Her End
Jason says Melody herself clocked that she's being talked about, tracing it back to hearing it from him, who heard it from Yash. It's a small, tangled web, but it points the same direction.
Rome Shuts Down the Spiral
Once Rome joins (after getting woken up twice by Lyric, to his visible annoyance), Lyric asks him directly if she's going up on the block.
Rome: "Zero. [chance]"
Rome and Jason agree the actual target conversation has been Barrett and Ashley all day, with the "in the know" crowd landing on Ashley specifically.
Rome: "That would be a very stupid thing to do"
