The Safety Pact
Angela and Lyric lock in a mutual promise not to nominate each other if either wins the next HOH.
Lyric: "I promise, if I ever win HOH, I will not put you up. I promise."
Angela responds in kind, calling Lyric one of the people in the house she'd genuinely want as a number.
Angela: "There's several people in here that I would love to be a number for, and you're one of them."
Addressing the Rome Situation
Lyric brings up her connection with Rome unprompted, making clear to Angela that her vote won't be influenced by him.
Lyric: "I don't ever want you to think that my vote is ever gonna be swayed by Rome's in any way."
Angela reassures her she sees Lyric as her own player, and says she'd defend her if anyone tried to use a potential showmance against her socially.
Angela: "If there were to be a showmance, I would fight for you if anybody was in a room saying anything."
Lyric admits she moves slowly with relationships and isn't in a rush to define anything with Rome inside the house.
Lyric: "It takes me a while before I actually get to know someone... you'd have to meet my parents before that even happens."
Bracing for the Next HOH
The two wrap the conversation acknowledging the stakes of the upcoming competition, both agreeing that whoever wins will shape the next stretch of the game.
Angela: "It's the only way that you can ensure your own safety and the people that you care about in here."
